Package: gambc Severity: wishlist The version in debian is 4.2.8 and the current version is 4.6.0. There are a few projects that require higher versions than 4.2.x. Gambit Scheme is also hard to build on computers with lower RAM levels. (took 10 minutes and 6-10% of the RAM on a Sparc server with 8 procs and 16GiB of RAM! ^_^) Just saying that it's not easy/possible to build on my machines.
