Hmm, unfortunately I cannot reproduce this misbehavior at all, neither in Etch, Lenny, Squeeze nor in Wheezy/Sid, using different set of installed and used locales. As such I now mark this bugreport correspondingly. Do you still experience this error? Anything you could possibly add to the bugreport? Cheers, Flo
