Hi Steve, The variable libPath in /usr/share/tcltk/tcl8.5/insighttoolkit3/pkgIndex.tcl points to the wrong directory. I think set libPath "/usr//lib/InsightToolkit/WrapITK/lib" should be changed to set libPath "/usr/lib" You can reproduce this error with slicer: $ slicer3 Set environment: Slicer3_HOME=/usr error reading package index file /usr/share/tcltk/tcl8.5/insighttoolkit3/pkgIndex.tcl: couldn't load file "/usr/lib/InsightToolkit/WrapITK/lib/libVXLNumericsTcl.so": /usr/lib/InsightToolkit/WrapITK/lib/libVXLNumericsTcl.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Thanks Dominique
