-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Package: mutt Version: 1.5.21-3 Severity: minor
The output of the manual inside the application (F1) is partly unreadable due to strange characters used for tables. For example: ââââââââââââââââ¬ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ â Item â Refers to... â ââââââââââââââââ¼âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠âprintf(3) âUNIX manual pages, execute man 3 printfâ ââââââââââââââââ¼âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠â<PageUp> ânamed keys â ââââââââââââââââ¼âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠â<create-alias>ânamed Mutt function â ââââââââââââââââ¼âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠â^G âControl+G key combination â ââââââââââââââââ¼âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠â$mail_check âMutt configuration option â ââââââââââââââââ¼âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ⤠â$HOME âenvironment variable â ââââââââââââââââ´ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ Earlier versions was displayed fine but I do not know exactly when this bug was introduced. When I try to pipe the raw page via iconv: zcat /usr/share/doc/mutt/manual.txt.gz | iconv -f UTF-8 -t ISO-8859-1 I get the error »iconv: illegal input sequence at position 96«. So the encoding seems to be totally wrong at all. Please fix it as the manual ununable in some cases that involves tables. - -- Package-specific info: Mutt 1.5.21 (2010-09-15) Copyright (C) 1996-2009 Michael R. Elkins and others.
