When converting files on moving them to an MTP device (Creative ZEN Vision), Banshee stores the .wav files needed in ogg->mp3 conversion in ~/.cache. It does not delete these files on exit (graceful or otherwise), and slowly (or rapidly, depending on disk size) the filesystem. These files run into several hundred megabytes (roughly 700 MB for a full CD). When the filesystem is full, Banshee segfaults. It can be restarted, but segfaults again when attempting the next transfer. After creating more space, Banshee can convert more files, but the cache needs to be manually emptied each time. On systems where /, /home and /tmp are all on the same partition, this can have rather annoying consequences for the rest of the system.
