The error message has now become more precise so maybe that will help: ERROR: parent directory is world writable, FileUtils#remove_entry_secure does not work; abort: "/tmp/d20110405-5491-1loqyn0" (parent directory mode 40777) Was not able to reproduce the bug on any other system, though...
