I'm unable to produce this crash, even when I select the G26 theme.

But then, there is more than one thing called the G26 theme.

I'm assuming you use a gnome-2 desktop.

No, I run a KDE desktop.

So currently you're switched to Industrial, and you have no crash.

Can you tell me *exactly* what you do to switch to G26 and then
produce the crash? Maybe I'm switching to G26 a different way and
that causes the difference.

I run the gtk themeswitcher (gtk-theme-switch), use it to switch to G26, start gnucash and see the crash.

Perhaps the selected font is significant here? The same theme switcher allows a font to be set. Select the icon to the right of the theme droplist ('click here for more options') and a font selection widget is added (as well as the option to install a new theme). I have -microsoft-verdana-medium-r-normal-*-*-110-*-*-p-*-microsoft-cp1251 set here.

I attached my .gtkrc file (with G26 set) as reference. The referenced ~/.gtkrc.mine file doesn't exist.
