tag 585386 +confirmed wontfix
thanks

Hi Morty,
honestly I think that this bug is a wontfix, mutt should be conservative
in what it sends and liberal in what it accepts, as far as I understand
mutt is able to decrypt messages sent by outlook but it will send
encrypted inline text messages only in a certain way.

My understanding if that if an user wants to send the mail to Outlook,
then it should use that command, in all the other cases, most of the
cases indeed, then there is no need to change the smime_encrypt_command.
It sounds more reasonable to fix Outlook or, for the subset of user who
wants this use case, to change the smime_encrypt_command.

We cannot change it because I cannot see any advantage in changing it at
the moment; the only way I can see this to be changed is if the mutt
authors change this upstream.

I'm tagging this bug as wontfix and I will resolve this in 1 week;
please let me know if you have any questions or if this doesn't sound
reasonable to you (I would also like to know how you would address the
problem).

Cheers
Antonio
