Hi! * Roland Stigge <sti...@debian.org> [110424 14:24]: > >> In #465900 I can see that the idea of removing dh-kpatches comes from > >> the urge of removing alcovebook-sgml (with dh-kpatches build-depending > >> on it). Maybe we can make dh-kpatches build without alcovebook-sgml? > > maybe. May you check that? > Consider the attached patch. Works for me. :-) Uhm... I was just looking at the package, considering to NMU it to get this issue finally settled. But looking at it... Last upload to experimental in 2003, last upload to unstalbe in 2005. The version in experimental has an rc bug open for five years (so it took people three years to find it?), but at least there's a patch for it. Not a pretty high popcon value, but it's a quite special package, so I grant there is a user base for it, but none cared enough to adopt the package since the maintainer posted an RFA a year ago. Unles Yann fixed this issue (okease read the backlog of that bug; sorry, we probably should have CCed you a couple of mails ago already) or you step up to maintain it, it actually looks to me, like a good candidate for removal.
