Package: aptitude Version: 0.2.15.9-2 Severity: minor Instructions to reproduce:
1. Start aptitude, select a normal, installed, package. 2. Hit "=". The package is marked as held. 3. Now I've changed my mind, I just want it to be kept at the current version, but not prevent upgrades. So I press ":". Nothing happens. The workaround is to first mark the package to be upgraded by hitting "+", then hit ":". I don't think it should be necessary to do this, though - there's no logical reason why it couldn't go straight from 'held' state to 'keep at current version but allow upgrades' state.
