Hi, thanks for the pointer to Debian-Bug #619117 [1]. This BR only told me there is a transition [2] - which is done here on i386 at last weekend. So, my BR can be closed. Personally, I was more interested in the technical aspects and maybe there is/are doc(s) on how to "transfer" packages/scripts from perl 5.10 to 5.12. Think also of people wanting to fixup 3rd party (or own) perl scripts or packages. Does something exist? [3] says: 4265 packages wait for perl (8 days old, not yet built, too young) [Niko Tyni] ( WOW! Didn't guess Debian is so perl-dependent.) Talking with other Debian enthusiats opened my eyes to [5] and [6]. - Sedat - [1]ยทhttp://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=619117 [2] http://release.debian.org/transitions/html/perl.html [3] http://release.debian.org/migration/toplist.html [4] http://release.debian.org/migration/testing.pl?waiting=perl [5] http://edos.debian.net/weather/ [6] https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdebase/kde-workspace/repository/revisions/3fda8ec4bb6701f51f43f655a1bf47b8959dd250 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
