Dear maintainer,
reviewing the German translation of the package description, I found one
paragraph of the description hard to understand and perhaps misleading.
Ethos is a library providing a standard plugin system that can be re-used.
The goal is to allow plugin developers to re-use their skills between
applications, therefore, increasing the developer base.
To re-use skills sounds strange to me. Perhaps you meant:
The ethos library provides a standard system of reusable extensions. The
goal is to allow plugin developers to reuse the code in different
applications and thereby increase the developer base.
And that's still not optimal - the "increased developer base" means better
use of their output. Or does the library provide some framework to develop
reusable extensions?
I think the folks on debian-l10n-english will gladly assist in writing an
easier to understand and translate description.
