Package: git-annex
Version: 0.20110521
Severity: wishlist

The --debug switch for git-annex that got added to fix #627499 is a great idea.

Now the problem I am running into is that git-annex-shell is terminating with
a return value of 1:

  $ git-annex-shell sendkey /mnt/pub/music/cds/.git
SHA1-s8110080--771f389008fe40d71bc5b7930341eab271c95ef6 -- || echo $?
  1

Unfortunately, I cannot see that return value documented anywhere and so I
cannot easily tell what's wrong with it. A "--debug" switch would be very
helpful here as well.

Cheers,
Francois
