Thank you for being on top of this.

How? I want to have a generic Zoom Level. I.e. zoom level to width,
meaning all and any pdf's should have zoom level to width by default.

I am looking/using it as a default preferences thing. I dunno if
that's its purpose or not.

In case if it is. What is happening is that I make a setting, I start
some document. Either in that document or some other document, I need
to increase or decrease the zoom hence I do it. The moment I do that,
the settings get wiped out and I'm back to square one, not a happy
camper :(
