I just tried on my system, putting
media_dir=/tmp
I though a / as needed at the end (without it I do not see the scan).
Found that in forums.
I see in your output that scanner.c did not run, so probably all you
need to do is trigger a re-scan (either delete
/var/lib/minidlna/files.db manually, or run 'minidlna -R').
I did see scan and even serving files was OK. I'm just wondering about
the watch still in /opt.
BTW I was using a more complicated setup (the syntax where you can
sepecify the type of media (A/V/P).
