I'm affected by this bug for a long time.
According to upstream bug, it's looks like phonon-xine-backend for
Amarok is not supported anymore.
Last time I checked, gstreamer was even worse than xine.
So, if xine is not maintained anymore, I suggest to remove it from
Debian in order to prevent people from complaining about Amarok randomly
crashing.
Question: Which phonon backend is actually recommanded for use with
Amarok in Debian Wheezy ?
- xine
- gstreamer
- vlc
- is there a pulseaudio backend ?
- any other backend ?
