Package: openssl

Hi,
I may have done something wrong, but my problem is somewhat more
important that a unused engine. OpenSSL simply crash on "openssl
engine padlock":
# openssl engine padlock
3076155544:error:2506406A:DSO support routines:DLFCN_BIND_FUNC:could
not bind to the requested symbol
name:dso_dlfcn.c:285:symname(v_check):
/usr/lib/openssl-1.0.0/engines/libpadlock.so: undefined symbol:
v_check
This problem should be solved in 1.0.0d-3.
I've downloaded openssl and libssl to my box, installed it, and now it
works. Thanks!
I really need someone to test things for me, since I don't have
access to that hardware. Can you try the config changes mentioned
in the bug report and see if you can actually see a speed
difference?
I'll have more time during this week, but for now, I'm a bit stuck with
some other things…
I think I also saw that the upstream developers fixed yet an other
thing related to module loading, maybe I should get that uploaded
too.
If you think it's necessary, but at least, Padlock is used now.
