Or PDF ones! This is one of the tools I often use in some document
processing workflows. Typically: bundling scanned documents into PDF
pages.

Did it? I see that a project has been started in Google code to take
over its maintenance: was that your initiative or is their a real new
upstream?

Unfortunately this is not really in my skills. Ideally this should be
upstream's job so I think what is mostly needed is a new upstream… If
someone can be found to handle the coding work, I would be glad to do
adopt the package.
