Hi! Unfortunately, I cannot do anything about this bug, because I cannot reproduce it on any of my systems.
I guess the best way to track this bug down would be to use snapshot.debian.org to go back to the a working state of the system (in a chroot environment) and then gradually upgrade according to dpkg.log until you can reproduce this issue.
