Package: network-manager Version: 0.8.9997-1 Followup-For: Bug #631150
Hello, Now that I've used the version of n-m in experimental several times, I have to tell more about the trouble I had. Its "experimental" version (0.8.9997-1) sounds rock solid. The trouble I had with this version (connecting to a WiFi hotspot) appeared to be a transient problem not related to this piece of software. However, its "testing" version (0.8.4.0-2) keeps vanishing regularly when I try to connect to the VPN (OpenVPN-based), as it does rarely in some other use cases. Please, don't panic ;-) Sincerely, Valentin -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.39-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages network-manager depends on: pn adduser <none> (no description available) pn dbus <none> (no description available) pn isc-dhcp-client <none> (no description available) pn libc6 <none> (no description available) pn libdbus-1-3 <none> (no description available) pn libdbus-glib-1-2 <none> (no description available) pn libgcrypt11 <none> (no description available) pn libglib2.0-0 <none> (no description available) pn libgnutls26 <none> (no description available) pn libgudev-1.0-0 <none> (no description available) pn libnl1 <none> (no description available) ii libnm-glib4 0.8.9997-1 network management framework (GLib ii libnm-util2 0.8.9997-1 network management framework (shar pn libpolkit-gobject-1-0 <none> (no description available) pn libuuid1 <none> (no description available) pn lsb-base <none> (no description available) pn udev <none> (no description available) pn wpasupplicant <none> (no description available) Versions of packages network-manager recommends: ii dnsmas 2.57-1 A small caching DNS proxy and DHCP pn iptabl <none> (no description available) ii modemm 0.4+git.20110429t103114.863dbca-1 D-Bus service for managing modems pn policy <none> (no description available) ii ppp 2.4.5-5 Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) - da Versions of packages network-manager suggests: ii avahi-autoipd 0.6.30-3 Avahi IPv4LL network address confi -- Configuration Files: /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf changed: [main] plugins=ifupdown, keyfile no-auto-default=aa:00:04:00:0a:04, [ifupdown] managed=false -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
