Yes, the script forces audio_powersave=1 on battery and
audio_powersave=0 on AC.

Thanks for CC:ing me, and: no, I didn't bring this upstream, as Debian
suggests "Don't file bugs upstream" [1] - the maintainer of a package
cares about forwarding bugs upstream if necessary.
