The commonality is the 2.6.39 kernel, iwlagn, and Netgear so not
necessarily an indicator.  The difference is Arch vs. Debian so
definitely not a Debian/Ubuntu issue. 

Clearly no guarantee that the problem is with Linux/iwlagn but
definitely an indicator that the Netgear folk should be investigating
this.
