Package: postgresql-common
Version: 113
Severity: important

I'm trying to update a postgres cluster in version 8.1 with the help of
pg_upgradecluster. Unfortunately, this fails because pg 8.1 does not know
the "-t" option, as the following output shows:

# LANG=C pg_upgradecluster 8.1 main
Stopping old cluster...
/usr/lib/postgresql/8.1/bin/pg_ctl: invalid option -- 't'
Try "pg_ctl --help" for more information.
Error: Could not stop old cluster
