Hi Bastian,

I haven't seen any response from you yet regarding this bug.  It's
currently the sole blocker preventing us from migrating /etc/mtab
to be a symlink to /proc/mounts, so some action would be
appreciated.

- could you patch the current version with the utab support from
  git, or provide the current git version directly in unstable?

- if you don't have the time to do this yourself, may we NMU it?
