Yes but you have to be aware of it or you will install dysfunctional
systems. Not necessarily straightforward. Sorry but I was a bit
frightened to discover that ;)

Fortunately I didn't have this problem in the past.  FYI, I'm mostly
using rinse through xen-create-image (and sometimes directly to create
OpenVZ containers).
