Package: steptalk Version: 0.8.2-5 StepTalk (http://packages.qa.debian.org/s/steptalk.html) does not depend on GNUstep Database library as stated here:
http://bjorn.haxx.se/debian/testing.pl?package=steptalk This applies to ANY StepTalk version, not only the one mentioned above. The gnustep-dl2 is optional and is required only by one optional StepTalk module in Modules/GDL2. StepTalk builds fine without the library. I would suggest to remove the dependency and either build the module separately or not build it at all. I have contacted about this the official maintainer (Brent A. Fulgham) of StepTalk debian package long time ago but I have not received any response so far. If you have any further questions, please contact me.
