Package: usbmount Severity: normal Hello barabba,
I'm trying to squish a few bugs in usbmount and this one is currently the only one listed with a severity level of "important". Unfortunately, I cannot quite grasp the problem(s) you're describing. The following list tries to summarize what I think you might experience and suggestions/questions that I have. 1. "usbmount r/w access only possible as root, permissions are wrong" Have you tried specifying a custom fstype string for "vfat" in the configuration file? 2. "The mount point is not correct" usbmount currently uses generic mount points, eg. /media/usb0 up to /media/usb7. There is another bug for usbmount, a wishlist item, that addresses this[0]. 3. "usbmount has udisk problems" I don't understand. What were you trying to do? Please elaborate on those points, if at all possible. If you're not sure whether those problems persist or you don't care anymore, please tell us regardless. Many thanks!
