It is a bug report. Pidgin used to support SILC, and it does not
support it anymore. No mention of dropping the protocol are in the
changelog. So, the program used to have functionality and it does not
anymore.
Ignore the last line of my bug report ("Why?"), consider it a
non-questioning bug report.
