According to INSTALL.txt (not included in the Debian package), cron.php now has
to be called
with a cron_key parameter:
http://example.com/cron.php?cron_key=YOURKEY
The key can be found within the Drupal site itself on the Status report page.
I'll include a patch that requires the cron_key to be set in either a separate
cronkey.php or
in settings.php for each configured site (as is the case with base_url now).
