Package: korn Version: 4:3.4.2-1 Severity: important I have some quite large mboxes used for sorting out incoming mail. In previous versions of KDE I used korn to see how many new messages are in each of the boxes, and it was working fine until I upgraded to the current version of KDE. Now when I run korn, top shows that kio_mbox processes use 100% CPU and load average gets over 2.5, and the systems slows down considerably for several minutes. This repeats every time korn rechecks the mboxes for new mail. I wonder what kio_mbox are trying to do, but they're doing it very inefficiently, because e.g. gbuffy is working without problems on the same mailboxes.
