Package: squid3 Version: 3.1.6-1.2 Severity: wishlist
It's my understanding that SSL is disabled in Debian because of a license conflict. I haven't dug into it, but I assume that the license for the SSL library conflicts with the DFSG. A simple workaround would be to provide an SSL-enabled squid3 package under the non-free section of packages.
