There is a new version of amavisd-new available that fixes several problems.
Is anyone already working on an upload? I'd be willing to put some work into
it.
See the packaging mailinglist. I started working on it, but some private
events came into it. I'll continue packaging on the weekend, I have to drop
Marc some patches for problems I found in 2.7.0.

Any news here?

If the content of the git tree is up-to-date (you don't have any
local changes cooking) I can try to fix some problems up and send
patches. Would that be okay?
The git-tree is imho ready. There is only some trouble with these l10n
feature, see:
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/amavisd-new-debian-devel/2011-August/000210.html
if you want to help. Otherwise I am ready.

Unfortunately this is one of the features I'm not familiar with, so I guess I'll have to wait.

However to do at least something, I just built the latest git-snapshot and put in on a production machine (running wheezy), other than it required upgrading the PgSQL database structure (which is documented) it works like a charm.
