Package: openssl
Version: 1.0.0e-2
Severity: minor

Here are a few issues about descriptions.

Primarily, libssl-dev's description contains:

libssl and libcrypto development libraries, header files and manpages.

But I don't see any manpage in libssl-dev. Manpages appear to be in libssl-doc.

If someone feels like it, libssl's description reads:

libssl and libcrypto shared libraries needed by programs like apache-ssl, telnet-ssl and openssh.

It is part of the OpenSSL implementation of SSL.

With the number of packages using libssl today, perhaps the list could be dropped and the focus moved to describing libssl and libcrypto's features.

If the list is to be kept, note that apache-ssl is no longer in Debian. This could be replaced by "Apache httpd (mod_ssl)". The capitalization for OpenSSH is... "OpenSSH".

Also, libssl-doc's short description reads:

SSL development documentation documentation

which seems partially redundant.
