I could not reproduce Debian bug 196024 with Bison 2.1, which just came out <ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/bison/bison-2.1.tar.gz>.
Nor could I reproduce it with Bison 1.875d-1, which is currently the Debian stable version.
