Hello Gunnar, I'm not seeing the same behaviour here so I'll need you to give me some more information about this pidgin-musictracker bug.
Can you first tell me the version of pidgin-musictracker you are using? The last few lines of the strace show that the program is blocking on file-descriptor 9. The problem is, we don't know what that is looking at. I ran strace here and saw a few lines close to, but not identical to, what you are seeing. We probably need to do some isolation testing. Can you rename your ~/.pidgin directory to something else so its away and safe enable musictracker again you will probably need to restart to see it lockup If it works, try to bring one new plugin at a time on or one new account at a time. Also, if it does play up, can you send the strace. The last few lines AND anything that mentions the problematic file descriptor. In the last time it was fd 9, but it might be a differen number this time. - Craig -- Craig Small VK2XLZ http://www.enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au Debian GNU/Linux http://www.debian.org/ csmall at : debian.org old fingerprint: 1C1B D893 1418 2AF4 45EE 95CB C76C E5AC 12CA DFA5 NEW fingerprint: 5D2F B320 B825 D939 04D2 0519 3938 F96B DF50 FEA5 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
