Hi, just wanted to remind this bug is really annoying to a point I ask friends to not use jabber to quickly let me know when friends are meeting as I always read it hours too late. :((
Taken the bug is two years old I have little hope to see it fixed any soon. I assume as the source of pidgin-otr [1] being 2 years old, too, there is nobody really maintaining it now but on the other hand the notification is not done by this, so maybe there are people still active which would have a way to fix that problem?
