Hi Simon, The testvendors.pl Perl script in the /CD/vendors/ dir was initially written for this task over 10 years ago. I've dedicated some time to update it and make it functional again. I've run it through the existing list of vendors and seems to work fine to detect stale vendors (although, like everything, there is room for improvement). The script can be used to parse any file, so it can be setup to: - Parse a new entry for a submitted vendor and report on its status - Parse existing entries periodically Could you please review if the script meets this needs? If it does, to cover the second requirement, it would just be a matter of setting up a cron job and sending the error outputs to some group/list (cdvendors?) To assess how to cover the first requirement (review at submission) I would need more information: the submission process is not (to my knowledge) documented (I've only seen /CD/vendors/README and that is incomplete). Regards Javier
