I had a nice talk with Stan a few weeks ago, and he advised that the BDB database is actually little more than a cache. Current versions of torrus have an acldump/restore mechanism, it should thus be OK to - dump ACLs (we should do this in a cron job as a backup) - ditch database completely - recompile configuration - restore ACLs from backup Does this help?
