I had a nice talk with Stan a few weeks ago, and he advised that the
BDB database is actually little more than a cache. Current versions of
torrus have an acldump/restore mechanism, it should thus be OK to

- dump ACLs (we should do this in a cron job as a backup)
- ditch database completely
- recompile configuration
- restore ACLs from backup
