Hi Guido, I'm responding here to both bug #647833 and #647834.
I don't envision implementing changes like these in the Debian package for pychecker. These really are enhancement requests for upstream, and they don't have anything to do with how the Debian package is utilized. The binary Debian package doesn't even include setup.py. I can (and do) submit bug reports to SourceForge for actual bugs reported by Debian users, but I would prefer not to be the owner for enhancement requests like this. I think it works better if the SourceForge bug is owned by the person actually making the enhancement request. Would you be willing to submit (and own) a bug report on SourceForge for these enhancement requests? If you do that, then I will tie the Debian bug reports to the SourceForge bug reports, and we can continue to track them here. If not, I would prefer to close these Debian bug reports. Please let me know. Thanks, KEN -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
