Are you using fallback mode or gnome-shell? What's the output of ck-list-sessions? If you are running "pkexec /bin/true", do you get a authentication dialog and can you successfully authenticate? -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
