I can't test that architecture and the fault lies either with ecj-bootstrap or the GNU classpath sources. There is (as of 14 Sep) a new ecj-bootstrap upstream in sid, maybe you can try again with 3.0.93. (There is also a newer ikvm prepared with a newer GNU classpath source but it requires mono 1.1.9 which is being tested before uploading and it also has the same line in the file that fails to compile.)
