Package: kaffeine
Version: 0.7.1-1
Severity: important

DEB_CONFIGURE_EXTRA_FLAGS += --with-xorg --with-xinit-workaround

Neither of these should be used. Before 0.7's release I sent a patch (which
was accepted) to upstream which deprecated --with-xorg in favour of
--with-xinit-workaround, since I didn't like Kaffeine's default behaviour
nor the confusing naming of the switch. --with-xinit-workaround is itself
also not needed with Debian, since Debian has never shipped an Xserver that
suffered from the problem it works around. Removing these flags and
rebuilding has solved a number of crashes for me, including a persistent
tendency for Kaffeine to crash on exit.

Cheers,
Christopher Martin
