'O' for options in application, then try to save 'Accept Changes'. Settings never saved. I use lynx not primarily for web work.. but for file navigation/file editing.. but a bug like this shouldn't be in stable. The only way I can make configuration changes is to make my own ~/.lynxrc file << And making this ~/.lynxrc is not clearly documented anywhere.. (not in /usr/share/doc.. and only hinted of it's existence from /etc/lynx-cur/lynx.cfg) eg: " show_dotfiles=on dir_list_style=directories_first file_editor=mcedit " -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages lynx depends on: ii lynx-cur 2.8.8dev.5-1 Text-mode WWW Browser with NLS sup lynx recommends no packages. lynx suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
