Severity: important
Because e2wm uses windmode, it is only compatible with (recent
versions of) GNU Emacs. Its dependencies reflect this fact to some
extent, but (correctly!) don't stop users from also having
installations of XEmacs, against which byte compilation fails:

Please modify its emacs-install script to skip compilation for
xemacs*. While you're at it, I'd also suggest enabling --no-site-file
to avoid (noisily) loading other addons' startup files; doing so may
entail adjusting the generated path.el to cover emacs-window-layout,
though.
