Bug#649433: centerim: apparently random characters in displayed contact names

Test scenario:
Logged in with Yahoo account, contact list displayed on the left hand panel.

The bad:
Some contact names were unreadable, displaying weird combinations of 
letters, signs and numbers.

The expected:
Contact names should be read/displayed correctly from the server.

I attach the output of my centerim window, using one of my testing accounts. 
It was captured with /script/, if you /cat/ the file you can see what I have 
seen.
