Package: science-statistics Version: 0.14 Severity: wishlist science-statistics has a Recommends: on r-cran-design (and just about every other r-cran-* package available at the time...)
Now, r-cran-design, or 'Design' upstream, has been replaced many, many years ago by its author, Prof Frank Harrell, in favour of a new package just called 'rms' (no, not what you think but rather 'Regression Modelling Strategies') which is the name of the book that the 'Design' package already supported. I have _finally_ packaged this, and the good folks at the NEW queue already let it in. With that, I would like to retire r-cran-design from Debian (as it is no longer an actively maintained upstream package) which would require your package to no longer recommend it. Could you please make the change?
