Dear Samba Maintainers,
there was some discussion about how to translate the second paragraph of the
package description (1). It says:
... and nss_wins, which provides hostname lookups via the WINS and NBNS
protocols.
I would suggest to s/WINS and NBNS protocols./WINS/NBNS service/ or
something
equivalent, as WINS and NBNS are implementations of the same protocol (2),
(3):
NetBIOS Name Service (NBNS)
This service is often called WINS on Windows systems.
The NetBIOS Name Service is part of the NetBIOS-over-TCP protocol
suite, see
the NetBIOS page for further information.
