tag 633273 patch thanks Hi - I've prepared an NMU which will remove the unneeded .la file. It looks like the intent was to use a post-install/% hook target, however no such target exists that I can find, and binary-post-install/% was too late (the files must be cleaned up before dh_pycentral is called)
I've switched it to use the install/% hook instead. Additionally, I modified it to only remove the .la file, and not the glade or so files, as both of those are needed in order to successfully run the examples. And I dropped the build-dependency on libxcb-render-util0-dev that was added in the last NMU, as python-visual doesn't use that library directly and it currently builds fine without it.
