Package: isoquery
Version: 1.5-1
Severity: normal

Hi Tobias,

While trying to use “isoquery -v” as you suggested, I noticed an error
while redirecting its output to a file:

$ isoquery -v > /dev/null
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/isoquery", line 25, in <module>
    (options, arguments) = isoquery_cmdline_parser.parse()

  File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/isoquery/cmdline_parser.py", line 87, in

    self.show_version_and_copyright()
  File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/isoquery/cmdline_parser.py", line 132, in
show_version_and_copyright
    print(translation)
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe7' in position

I actually have the same error message with “LANG=C isoquery -v”.

Regards

David
