google-earth-stable_current_i386.deb (current version is 6.1) from Google has the files installed under /opt and also an evil /etc/cron.daily/google-earth that install and (re)enables Google's repository. Since GoogleEarthLinux.bin (version 6.0, downloaded by make-googleearth-package) is now an older release (that won't be updated it seems), make-googleearth-package will have to download Google's .deb file, process it and create a saner final .deb file (that the user will install). Basically what it already does with GoogleEarthLinux.bin (but now it will have to extract the .deb file and create a new one). I hope it's clear now :-) Best regards, Nelson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
